About Foodmart

Foodmart is a small online grocery that works while you sleep. You order in the evening. We shop, pack and drive through the night. Your bags are on the step before the kettle goes on.

Why nights?

Two reasons, both practical.

• The markets open at 2am. Buying then means the fruit, bread and milk we deliver are hours old, not days.
• The roads are empty. A van that takes an hour to cross town at 5pm takes twenty minutes at 4am. Fewer miles, fewer missed windows, lower prices.

We stock six aisles: fruit and veg, bakery, dairy and eggs, pantry, drinks and coffee. Not everything, on purpose. We'd rather carry two hundred things we'd buy ourselves than twenty thousand we wouldn't.

This is a demo

Foodmart is not a real shop. It's a demonstration site for NimbusCMS, running the Aurora theme. Every page, product, price and stock level is real content stored in the CMS and served by the Storefront plugin. Nothing here is hard-coded.

You can browse, search, filter and fill a basket. You can't pay, and nothing will arrive. The whole site resets on the hour, so if something looks odd, wait a few minutes and try again.
